House rules & good to know

You’ll be staying on our property in the woods, so please treat it with care and respect. These rules apply to every stay.

• Guest limits are firm: 2 guests at each cabin and treehouse, 6 at Horseshoe Rustic Lodge. No extra guests.
• No pets (service animals only).
• No smoking or vaping inside.
• No parties or events.
• Outside commercial photography and filming aren’t permitted on the property. We offer our own photography packages — see packages.
• All four small cabins (Fox’s Den, Coyote’s Cabin, Two Tree Re‘tree’t, and Hawks Treehouse) are adults only.
• Coyote’s Cabin and Hawks Treehouse allow one vehicle only, since parking is tight.
• Every stay has self check-in (keypad or lockbox).
• At checkout: wash the dishes, take the trash to the big blue can by the road, lock up, and please don’t strip the bed. Treehouse guests, please set the hot tub to 104° and snap the lid on.
• This is a real woodland setting on a bluff above Scarham Creek. Expect wildlife and insects, don’t leave food out, and take care around the bluff, the creek trail, and fires.
• Hot tubs and the nearby creek are not gated.

Cancellation policy

The same for every stay: cancel 30 or more days before check-in for a full refund. After that, you’ll get a 50% refund up until 2 weeks before check-in. Within 2 weeks of check-in, there’s no refund.
